This scholarship supports students at Te Whare W?nanga o Waitaha | University of Canterbury who are studying, researching, or developing, aids for early-childhood special-needs education.
Applicable enrolment during tenure: Applicants must be studying, researching, or developing, in any discipline, aids for early-childhood special-needs education.
Tenure: One year

In making the recommendation the selection committee gives equal consideration to: a. academic involvement; b. community involvement; and c. the obstacles faced in pursuing study, including financial need.
If, in any year, there is no candidate of sufficient merit, no scholarship is offered.
