The B.S. in Cybersecurity program seeks to produce highly skilled and technically competent cybersecurity professionals in all aspects of defensive as well as offensive cybersecurity that starts with security in the initial design and development of the system. Developed with the ABET accreditation criteria for cybersecurity in mind, the program emphasizes a core competency skill set that includes: Creativity, Critical thinking, Innovation, Problem-solving.Our program is designed to engage you in an open, active learning environment using individual and collaborative project-based activities for secure computing that are valuable and relevant. In this program you can expect to gain a strong foundation in cybersecurity principles from faculty who teach from real-world cybersecurity experience. You will have the opportunity to put what you have learned to the test through practical hands-on experiences, ultimately allowing you to develop the skills required for a career in this field.
