The computer science program at SIUE offers a solid foundation in computing. A minor in computer science is also available for students who are pursuing other disciplines.Students in the computer science program are recruited for internship opportunities and co-op programs by large and small companies throughout Illinois, including Chicago, and in the city of St. Louis. Opportunities for participation in research projects are available through the Undergraduate Research and Creative Activities (URCA) program and/or through independent study courses. The computer science program is accredited by the Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET.
