The programme is aimed at meeting the educational needs of prospective professional engineers by providing an in-depth theoretical understanding and practical knowledge of electrical engineering subject areas. The programme concentrates on providing the students with the opportunity to develop their intellectual and imaginative abilities with respect to good engineering practice that will allow them to fit into engineering organisations quickly and easily.This programme particularly focuses on the operation of Electrical machines, power system network analysis, electrical supply design, transmission network analysis, and machine drives control. Upon completion, the graduates are expected to have an excellent career in the renewable energy sectors, power generation and distribution companies, energy utilities and other related industries.
