Steinhardt's Applied Statistics for Social Science Research (A3SR) program focuses on deep understanding of statistical methods to facilitate informed application, including the opportunities and challenges in using empirical methods to inform policy and practice. Wagner's MPA program has a public policy analysis specialization and empowers students to play a leading role in evaluating and creating policy that better serves the public good. Together, these programs complement and support each other to develop well-rounded graduates.
