Graduates of the civil engineering program may work as construction, environmental, geotechnical, hydraulic, structural, transportation or water resource engineers.The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering emphasizes a balance of teaching and research in forefront areas of modern Civil and Environmental engineering.The Master of Science/Thesis (MS/Thesis) in Civil Engineering provides students with education in advanced civil engineering topics as well as research experience.
