Master of Science in Civil Engineering - Environmental and Water Resources Engineering

The MSCE Environmental and Water Resource Engineering specialization requires completion of 30 units of graduate courses. Each student's program must satisfy all requirements of the university, college, and department, and contain the equivalent of 10 or more units of design, as determined by the department's graduate coordinator. During the first two weeks of the first semester as a CSULB graduate student, the student should schedule an advising appointment with the graduate coordinator, who will assign them to one of the Environmental/ Water Resource specialization faculty.The mission of the civil engineering graduate program is to provide a high-quality educational experience and the technical specialization required to become successful leaders in industry and the society, to engage students in innovative practical research and encourage them to pursue advanced degrees and lifelong learning. Our Civil Engineering program features several specialties: Structural, Geotechnical, Water/Environmental, Transportation and Construction Management.
