This program is delivered in a traditional online experience or by our Maverick Flex Path program which is delivered in a competency-based education (CBE) format, which emphasizes the demonstration of mastery in defined skills and knowledge areas (competencies) rather than time spent in class. While all Maverick Flex Path courses operate within the university’s standard academic calendar, multiple start dates throughout each term are offered to provide added flexibility. Policies specific to Maverick Flex Path govern enrollment periods, progress expectations, faculty engagement, and grading procedures, as outlined in the university’s policy framework. Note that a student must be enrolled in a Maverick Flex Path program to take Maverick Flex Path courses.
