Clarkson University

The Construction Management Track is available to Engineering & Management majors in the David D. Reh School of Business. Students interested in construction management careers -whether as project managers, field engineers, or initially as estimators, schedulers, expediters, auditors–can hone their skills and gain a competitive career edge through this track with courses taught in both the Reh School of Business and the Wallace H. Coulter School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. Today's global marketplace requires individuals skilled in the integration of technology, engineering and business management. Clarkson University's Bachelor of Science in Engineering & Management is dually accredited by ABET as an engineering degree and by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) as a business degree. Our unique curriculum combines solid business know-how with technical problem-solving skills in engineering and technology. As organizations rethink technical and managerial roles, you'll qualify for a wide range of flexible career paths centered on leadership and technology. Among the alumni of the Engineering & Management program, one in three is already a CEO, senior executive or owner of a company. Our interdisciplinary program, offered jointly by the Reh School of Business and the Coulter School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, trains you to translate the language of engineering and technology into the world of business and industry. Our graduates are recognized as leaders with the ability to initiate new ideas and facilitate change. Our curriculum stresses experiential learning. Many of our courses integrate open-ended problems with hands-on projects, including our first-year E&M courses, Team-Based Design & Innovation and Technological Entrepreneurship, as well as the culminating senior design experiences. Students begin solving real-world problems on their very first day at Clarkson. And, our E&M Class of 2024 had a 100 percent placement rate.
