The AS degree in Health Sciences will be awarded upon satisfactory completion of the Major course requirements and the General Education requirements.The Healthcare Interpreter program provides training for bilingual individuals to provide effective healthcare interpreting services. Students completing this certificate will become integral members of the healthcare team in bridging the language and cultural gap between clients and providers. A Certificate of Proficiency will be awarded upon satisfactory completion of the courses specified below. The Certificate of Proficiency is not indicated on the student’s transcript.
