Assessment is broad-based, employing reports, design projects, presentations, posters, interviews, exams, etc all aligned to real word examples and situations.Integral to the programme is an extended Industrial Placement, which offers invaluable ‘hands on’ experience in civil engineering companies, while research projects can be conducted alongside postgraduates and research active staff/companies. Several have led to papers being published in journals and presented at international conferences.
