As a carpenter you’ll build and repair residential, commercial and industrial buildings in accordance with local building codes. You’ll work with a variety of construction materials including wood, concrete, fasteners and engineered products, and use a wide array of hand and power tools.Learn the carpentry skills you need to start working in the field and prepare for apprenticeship in our Foundation program, where you’ll spend about 70 percent of your time doing hands-on practical work
