This advanced diploma focuses on industrial electrical power, process control, and automation systems. Students learn on the latest equipment and software gaining valuable technical knowledge and experience. Our seven-semester program focuses on industrial electrical power, process controls, and automation systems, however the program content and skills can also be applied to commercial and residential settings. There is a high degree of practical lab work within the program using modern industrial equipment and software to ensure students gain the technical knowledge and experience needed for industry.Extensive hands-on training and applied learning through labs, an applied project course, and an optional co-op provide students with the practical experience they need to succeed in the workplace. Students in this program will take part in a co-operative education experience between semesters 4 and 5. Gain real world experience and make valuable connections with employers - all while getting paid. With extensive hands-on lab work, a paid co-op, and applied research projects related to CAMIIT, you will have many opportunities to gain practical, applied experience.
