Program Highlights

Learn the basic principles and practices of business marketing, enabling you to become proficient and confident as a marketer in a variety of business environments. With the skills and experience learned in the classroom, you can translate theory into practice in everyday work.

More than simply advertising, this diploma sets you up for marketplace design, and encourages you to find new ways to connect with and understand consumers. While theory and practical application are foundational to this program, creativity is also an integral element. You will use creative skills in areas of market research, digital content creation and organization, communications, branding and the maintenance of important business relationships.

Program Details

The diploma program provides students with a broad understanding of business practices. With the experience and skills learned in the classroom, students will be able to progress to more responsible roles in accounting, marketing, operations, personnel or general administration. Year one of the program provides a solid foundation in general business. Options are available in Accounting, Financial Services, Hospitality and Tourism Management, Human Resources Management, Management and Marketing. A General Studies option is also available to those who want to take elective courses from a variety of options.

The Diploma in Business Administration consists of 60 credits. All students take 27 credits in core business foundation courses plus first-year courses in English, Mathematics and Economics (or BUAD 113). Students then select at least 12 credits out of 24 credits in electives from a specialty option of study.

  • Pearson Test English (Academic): Overall score 56 No Communicative Skills score lower than 55
  • Duolingo English Test: Overall score 105.

Application deadline: Fall sessions – June 30; Winter sessions - October 31; Summer sessions - February 28.
