A Master of Science (Physiotherapy) at The University of Notre Dame Australia will allow you to further your industry experience. We are dedicated to the growth of strong and innovative research culture with our higher degree by research student population and external collaborative partnerships, we foster, support and increase research activity and quality. You will contribute to Notre Dame’s growing research portfolio as a research student. The Master of Science (Physiotherapy) by Research is a postgraduate research degree comprising a substantial research project culminating in submitting a thesis or equivalent for independent examination by two external examiners. A master’s by research degree is recommended for students who wish to enhance their knowledge, develop their career potential, or anticipate applying for a Professional Doctorate or Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the future.

The following criteria apply to students seeking admission to the Master of Research program:

Possession of an undergraduate degree from a recognised university which has been completed at a superior standard and which demonstrates the applicants potential to undertake and complete research-based study at AQF level 9 equivalence.
In exceptional circumstances, an equivalent academic or professional background that is considered by the Dean of the School to be an appropriate preparation for independent study and research work at Masters level.

IELTS (Academic) - 7.0 overall, with no score lower than 7.0 in writing and no other individual band score lower than 6.5; CAE/CPE - 185 overall, with no score lower than 185 in writing and no other band score lower than 176; PTE Academic - 68 overall, with no score lower than 68 in writing and no other band score lower than 58; TOEFL (iBT) - 94 overall, with no score lower than 27 in writing and no other individual band score lower than 20.
