The BHUMR (Hons) will offer strong students the opportunity to extend their studies and examine issues in human rights and associated areas at a more advanced level. They will also have the opportunity to specialise by writing a dissertation under close supervision from an academic with expertise in their chosen subject-area. Given that this involves the development of important attributes (e.g. advanced writing, analytical, and research skills), completing the BHUMR (Hons) would add significantly to graduates' employability. It is also essential training for students who wish to undertake graduate study in their chosen fields.
