Awarded annually on the recommendation of the Committee for the Aircraft Maintenance Technician program to 8 students who are nearing completion of their second year in the program. Students demonstrate a willingness to grow as a learner, respond well to mentorship, and/or volunteer within the community. Preference for Indigenous, women, newcomers, single parents and underrepresented peoples. The Award is open to Canadian citizens and permanent residents.
