This scholarship supports students who have completed at least one year of full-time study of violin, viola or cello who have an ambition to make music their career. Shortlisted applicants are invited to submit a recording of their playing and attend an online interview.
Eligibility
To be considered for this scholarship, you must:
have completed at least one year of full-time study of violin, viola or cello
intend to make music your career.

Applicants will be shortlisted for audition and interview with a small selection panel. Shortlisted applicants are asked to perform an unaccompanied piece of about 5 minutes duration and answer some questions relating to their performance aspirations and financial need. Eligible applicants will be assessed on:
artistic merit
academic merit
career aspirations
financial need
the likely success in completing the proposed course of study.
