Originally established in Rockhampton in 1967 as the Queensland Institute of Technology (QIT) Capricornia, CQUniversity Australia achieved full University status in 1992 and at present, has over 30, 000 students studying online and on-campus in Australia and in Jakarta, Indonesia. Established in March 2020, the CQUniversity Australia Jakarta Centre is a subsidiary of CQUniversity. The centre is located in the vibrant Mega Kuningan area and is Indonesia’s first-ever Australian University Centre. The centre’s shared vision is to foster deeper collaboration, spanning a wider range of educational fields, all with the goal of making a more substantial contribution to Indonesia through superior education. CQUniversity is now a renowned research institution in several key disciplines and the benchmark leader for how universities should engage and collaborate with communities and industry.
