This is an Accelerated Master's Program (AMP).
Applicant must be a continuing University of Arizona undergraduate with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.3, no exceptions given. If the student's GPA falls below 3.30 at the time s/he has completed 90 units, the student will not be admitted into the program.
Completion of a minimum of 75 undergraduate units at the time of application and a minimum of 90 undergraduate units at the time of entry into the program. Courses taken for audit may not be included in the total number of units counted for eligibility or admission.
Completion of at least 12 graded units of undergraduate course work in the major at the UA.
Completion or near completion of general education requirements and/or other major requirements depending on consultation by AMP advisor.
The AMP Admit term should be the Summer before or Fall of the final year in a students undergraduate career, this means the student must consult with an advisor and apply at least 5 months prior to their desired AMP admit term.
In the AMP admit year (final year of UGRAD program) the student will complete AMP course requirements and finalize their bachelors degree. The undergraduate degree requirements must be completed before the student is admissible into the graduate degree-seeking program to finalize the master requirements.
