The Master of Environmental Science (M.En.) degree at Miami University takes an interdisciplinary approach to environmental problem-solving and sustainable practices. The program ensures you gain the critical skills and hands-on experience needed to excel in the evolving, exciting field of environmental science. The M.En. program requires a total of 36 credit hours for degree completion. Components of the curriculum are divided into core courses, one area of concentration, the team-based Professional Service Project, and an individual professional experience.

A cumulative undergraduate GPA of at least 2.75 out of 4.00Applicants for graduate study must have earned at least a 4-year U.S. equivalent Baccalaureate degree. Typically, 16 years of schooling with four years of full-time study at the university level, culminating with the award of a first or second degree. Applicants must submit their academic record/transcript at the time of application. The Graduate School accepts unofficial transcripts at the time of application and does not require third-party credential evaluations.
