The Legal Paraprofessional Graduate Certificate program provides the education you need to practice law under Arizona's new Legal Paraprofessional (LP) license. This limited-scope license allows people with specific education and experience to provide legal services in certain practice areas. Similar to nurse practitioners in the medical field, legal paraprofessionals help meet the enormous unmet demand for legal services. The University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law offers the educational pathway you need to qualify for the state's Legal Paraprofessional licensing examination. Upon licensing, you will be able to represent clients in court and provide legal advice and assistance in approved practice areas.
