To apply for admission to UMass Law, you must:Have earned a bachelor's degree from an institution that is accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the Department of Education.An LSAT, GRE or JD-Next score is required for all JD applicants. A valid reportable score must be received directly from LSAC, ETS or Aspen Publishing. Scores more than 5 years old are not acceptable for admission consideration. Applicants must submit all GRE test scores directly to UMass Law. UMass Laws ETS code is 3392. JD-Next scores will be received directly from Aspen Publishing.Register with the Credential Assembly Service (CAS).Official transcripts of an applicant's undergraduate, graduate, and professional schoolwork must be submitted to the Law School Admission Council (LSAC), which will analyze the transcripts and provide copies to UMass Law as part of the CAS Report. Statement of Purpose, minimum 600-900 words, explaining the your interest in the program, purpose for applying to the program, graduate study objectives, if you have previous policy-related or public management experience, and undergraduate preparation for the course of study.ResumeTranscripts for all post-secondary institutions attended (regardless of whether a credential is earned or not). Unofficial transcripts are accepted for admissions application review, once enrolled a final official transcript is required. International students or students who earned degrees outside the USA will need a full evaluation (including course by course translation with grades and equivalencies) if transcript is not on US 4.0 grading scale.Graduate Record Examination (GRE), Law School Admissions Test (LSAT), or Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT): Applicants to the Master of Public Policy must submit GRE (general test), LSAT, or GMAT scores
