The Graduate Certificate in Literacy Coaching is for certified teachers who wish to develop specialized skills in the area of literacy. This program is for those interested in coaching classroom teachers and paraprofessionals in developing appropriate programs for struggling readers. You will learn the foundations of literacy in the classroom, how to administer reading assessments to implement appropriate interventions for struggling students, and skills in modeling, observation, and conferencing as a literacy coach for teachers and paraprofessionals.
