Additionally, Lehigh’s bioengineering faculty engage with regional and national hospitals and medical schools, and biotech industry firms.Doctoral students in bioengineering come from a variety of backgrounds, including biomedical engineering, chemical engineering, electrical engineering, physics, mechanical engineering, materials science, biochemistry, and biology.
