That means significant savings on tuition and a jumpstart in your career.Applied mathematics (BS)An applied mathematics degree focuses on using mathematical methods to solve real-world problems in science, engineering, business and technology, which prepares you for careers in data analysis, finance, software development and research or graduate study in quantitative fields.Students must complete a minimum of 120 units with a Pacific cumulative and major/program grade point average of 2.0 in order to earn the bachelor of science degree with a major in applied mathematics with a concentration in actuarial science.
