Old Dominion University offers a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics with a Major in Applied Mathematics. This program is intended for students wishing to pursue graduate work in mathematics or otherwise obtain employment in a mathematics field. A variety of 400-level classes that apply the mathematics developed within the Math Core courses. Required classes in theoretical mathematics to develop a deeper understanding of the rigorous nature of mathematics development. Computational math classes to teach mathematical computer modeling.
