The Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Criminal Justice program at New England College (NEC) provides you with not only an education but also an opportunity to explore how criminal justice operates with real-world experiences. All classes are taught by attorneys and law enforcement professionals with experience in the criminal justice field. Small classes allow students to develop individual relationships with faculty and explore areas where academic knowledge meets real-world practice. In our bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, you will interact with law enforcement, corrections, and legal community members and visit local courts, law enforcement agencies, and correctional facilities. You can also participate in several law enforcement simulations designed to enhance your understanding of the criminal justice system. New England College recognizes the IB curriculum as a challenging academic program that provides excellent preparation for university study. In most cases, credits are awarded for a minimum score of 5 on Standard Level (SL) exams and minimum score of 4 on Higher Level (HL). Additionally, students who earn an IB diploma in English can have their English Proficiency Score waived.A maximum of 30 credits may be awarded for IB.
