The Electrical Trades program at St. Philip’s College provides quality education to individuals pursuing a career in the electrical field. The program implements classroom, laboratory, and on the job training to ensure students gain the necessary knowledge and experience to be successful. We understand that our students come from a diverse background of education and experience and offer a variety of educational paths and options so that you may tailor your education to your background and interests. Basic AC-DC, residential wiring, commercial wiring, industrial wiring, motor controls, programmable logic controllers, transformers and electrical codes. The Allied Construction Trades Department provides workforce training that meets or exceed certifications requirements from national organizations like the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER), American Welding Society (AWS), Plumbing and Heating and Cooling Contractors (PHCC), The North American Coard of Energy Practitioners (NABCEP).
