Research in the new School of Medicine seeks to make a difference in the lives of local people through innovative high quality research methods. Our multi-disciplinary research is led by world-leading academics and covers areas including medical education, paediatric cardiology, public health, health-related behaviours, endocrinology and obesity. Collaboration is central to our approach, and we partner with a wide range of stakeholders including community and voluntary groups, local health services including general practice and hospitals, and government departments and the Public Health Agency.
