The Maternal, Child and Family Health research theme includes practioners and researchers from a number of different disciplines within healthcare, spanning midwives, psychologists, sociologists and epidemiologists. The theme aims to inform policy internationally, targeting areas such as mental health and social marginalisation. We synthesise evidence and undertake primary research using mixed methods, qualitative and quantitative methods. We work closely with the NHS, are committed to co-production of research with users and representatives of public, private, voluntary and community organisations. We believe that health and social care should be inclusive, a belief that underpins everything we do.
