This Energy Institute-accredited Energy Transitions and Sustainability degree provides you with comprehensive knowledge & transferable management skills for addressing the management challenges of sustainable energy sourcing, evaluation and application.

The MSc Energy Transitions and Sustainability course at RGU supports the development of relevant competencies for managing the transition from carbon-intensive to renewable energy sources, which minimise the impact of anthropogenic activities.

The course also offers the opportunity to extend your study by a year to complete a 48-week work placement.

Applicants normally hold a 2:2 undergraduate honours degree or its equivalent in any subject discipline. Applicants with a lower degree classification and / or relevant work experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Applicants whose first language is not English should have an IELTS of 6.5 overall, with no component lower than 5.5, or an equivalent, TOEFL iBT overall 88 with 18 in reading, 20 in speaking, 17 each in writing and listening.
