Our General Engineering degree aims to produce engineers of the future who want to make a real-world impact. The first two years build a solid foundation in core engineering principles, while the third year allows you to specialise with your choice of modules and apply your knowledge to real projects, giving you a significant head start in your professional journey.You can also choose to study for the integrated Master’s course (MEng), adding a fourth year to your degree during which you’ll undertake substantial group research and a design project, integrating advanced knowledge from four years of study. The MEng is the main qualification pathway for students who make an early decision to train as engineers.**Accreditation**This programme is accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) on behalf of the Engineering Council for the purposes of partially meeting the academic requirement for registration as a Chartered Engineer.
