This major focuses on individual psychological problems that present in an applied setting and examines their mechanisms and treatment. You’ll explore the biological, psychological, and social factors that contribute to psychological problems, and how behavioural treatments may be used to address them. This major provides a firm foundation for those interested in working with individual clients-for example, those who might wish to proceed to postgraduate professional psychology training-or in related policy areas.
