The BA (Hons) in International Communication Studies with Film and Television Studies is a dynamic three-year programme that combines theoretical insights with practical media production. Students will explore the political, cultural, and economic forces shaping global communication, specialising in film and television. The curriculum covers media theory, visual communication, and the historical development of cinema and television. Practical modules like Documentary Film and Practice allow students to create, film, and edit their projects. A key element of the course is language proficiency, with students gaining fluency in a European or Asian language, enhancing their global career prospects. Using state-of-the-art digital media labs, the programme equips students with both academic knowledge and practical skills that will prepare them for careers in media, advertising, content creation, and international communications.
