The Animation – Digital production program was developed with input from veterans in the animation, film animation, games, and visual effects industries. The program and continues to garner enthusiastic support from studios and professional artists across the country. All of our professors come from industry, ready to share their knowledge and experience with students. Learning highlights of the program are: Mastery of 3D and 2D animation: starting with foundational principles in both 3D animation courses and a 2D animation course, students advance to more complex techniques over six semesters. Developing modelling and rigging skills. Learning pre-production and planning: students learn how to plan, storyboard, and develop their film animation projects from their initial concepts to final production. Artistic foundations: through their animation school training, students become adept at making accurate representations of anatomy, gestures, and poses. Visual storytelling: courses in cinematic arts are a key component of learning film animation. This equips students with the knowledge and skills to craft compelling visual narratives.
