UNB’s Mathematics and Statistics department offers top percentile research programs, plus the chance to study advanced topics with internationally-recognized faculty. It all adds up to a positive university experience, equating to happier students and better job prospects. We generally have around 30 graduate students in a variety of research areas and we host several post-doctoral researchers. Our department is home to the Applied Statistics Centre, which provides statistical consultation for UNB researchers and the community at large, as well as the Centre for Noncommutative Geometry and Topology, which is an international research consortium that includes many renowned mathematicians.
