This research-based degree offers you the opportunity to study the application of ecological principles and methods in diverse ways under guidance from renowned professors. Our program generally takes a minimum of 2 years to complete. You will have the option of studying full time or part-time. You can tailor your studies to address topics related to environment and natural resource management, climate change, watershed management, and more. The importance of protection and conservation of the environment and sustainable, ecologically-sound management of natural resources has been recognized globally. With the goal of increasing educational options for those interested in learning about the sustainable management of the environment, we are now offering a new Master of Science degree in Environmental Management (MScEM). The new degree addresses sensitivity to human rights, public views on social, political, and economic issues, professional and humane ethics, and diverse values in the sustainable management of the environment. The research-based education is largely self-motivated, guided by supervisors, and based on thorough familiarization with pertinent literature, experimentation, data collection, analysis, and interpretation of results. The thesis produced by the students is subject to review and defense.
