Program Overview
The Environmental Studies program at Queen’s University provides graduate-level training in the field of environmental sustainability by practicing an interdisciplinary approach to the study of the long term nature and impacts of environmental change, the connections between today’s decisions and tomorrow’s welfare, and the strong dependence of human well-being on environmental quality.
Opportunities
As the market for professionals with environmentally - related skills continues to grow, students are demanding post-graduate training in preparation for environmental careers in industry, government and non-governmental organizations. We have developed our programs in response to this growing demand. This program provides opportunities for joint projects with many disciplines at Queen’s and RMC including Biology, Business, Chemistry, Developmental Studies, Engineering, Geography and others.

English language requirements
Applicants must have TOEFL Internet-based Test (TOEFL iBT): The minimum overall score is 88, made up of the minimum scores in each component test as follows: Writing test: 24/30; Speaking test: 22/30; Reading test: 22/30; Listening test: 20/30; MELAB: 80 (minimum overall score); IELTS: 7 (minimum score, academic module); PTE Academic: 65 (minimum overall score).
