Stand out from the crowd with a unique credential that demonstrates your mastery of the art and technology used in computer-generated imagery (CGI). You'll be guided by expert professors from Sheridan's Faculty of Animation, Arts & Design - Canada's largest arts school and a global innovator in computer animation education for nearly 50 years.
Study fundamentals of computer animation, design and technology, and then sharpen your skills through hands-on projects. By your third year of the program, you'll be ready to take specialized courses in such areas as animation, advanced technology, visualization and machine learning. You'll also gain valuable industry insights and real-world experience through a research capstone and 420-hour internship.
The field of computer animation and visual effects sits at the intersection of three key domains that come together to service story and narrative: art and design, technological competence, and computer science.
