The Department of Human Anatomy and Cell Science is an essential component for the teaching of educational programs in the Rady Faculty of Health Sciences. Our department is complementary to the basic medical sciences providing a full spectrum of medical knowledge to future generations of medical health professionals. We provide expertise in many disciplines and sub-disciplines as it is a foundation of medical training. We encourage aspiring individuals to pursue a career in Human Anatomy research and teaching. We also support the introduction of innovative educational programs delivered to the faculties and the University in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary format. The Ph.D. option consists of coursework and a substantial research component. Expected Duration - 4 years.
