Acting core principles. Begin the mental, physical, and emotional preparation necessary to enter into the craft of acting. On-camera acting classes. Learn essential audition techniques for actors to gain experience with technical and creative demands. TV audition techniques. Expand your range and presence through improv for film and TV and advanced skills to master any audition. In 12 months you will graduate with: A diploma in Acting for Film & Television, Video of your class's projects, professional headshots, and a promotional package highlighting your acting work, Access to the VFS Alumni Directory and Job Board, A graduation launch on Casting Workbook.com, including a one-year membership.

Secondary

- Completion of 3 years of full-time secondary education (Grades 8-12), or 2 years if the Grades are 10, 11, or 12 from a country where English is one of the principal languages.

IGCSE (Cambridge, Oxford or Pearson AQA)

- Grade B/6 in English as a First Language, or Grade A/7 in English as a Second Language

International Baccalaureate (IB)

- A final grade of 5 or higher on IB English A1 (English A: Language & Literature) or A2 (English A: Literature) course

Upload your audition to a video hosting site (YouTube, Vimeo, a personal website, etc) and send a link to the school.

Please note that the audition must be specifically created for VFS according to the Content Requirements provided below and must be clearly identified as such.

The tape must be a maximum six minutes in length and must be in the following format:

1. State your name on camera
2. Demonstrate a contemporary film audition monologue in less than one minute
3. Demonstrate a short contemporary scene (applicant should be on camera and the reader off camera) in less than one minute
4. If desired, provide a maximum one-minute demo of a special skill (e.g. singing, dance, physical action, etc.)
