Boreal Ecology (PhD)

As a student in the Boreal Ecology Ph.D. Program, you will conduct research in ecology related to northern areas, including, but not limited to the Boreal Shield and the Boreal Forest Biome. Ecology is understood as a study of interactions between organisms and their environment. The program exposes the students to current advances in theory and methodologies in a broad range of disciplines. The students develop critical thinking and analytical and communication skills through individual in-depth study, mentorship with faculty and peers, as well as participation in seminars, conferences, workshops, and the peer-review processes of publication.

• Conservation and Restoration Ecology
