At Nipissing you have the option to focus on one of our four streams: Policing, Corrections, Criminology or Criminal Justice Studies. Our flexible program is designed to give you a balanced combination of theory and practice. Through field placements, projects, and research, you will have opportunities to work alongside real criminal justice professionals. In the Criminal Justice Studies stream, you will take a wide variety of courses that will give you broad knowledge of the Criminal Justice system. You will also take courses in Sociology and Psychology, and you will learn how they relate to the field of Criminal Justice.

Official transcripts from all institutions (domestic or international) previously or presently attended, secondary schools, colleges and universities (Domestic and international applicants who have attended postsecondary institutions outside of North America must have their transcripts assessed.International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma with at least six subjects, including three at a higher level, with a minimum final grade of 24, will be considered for admission. Students who successfully complete the International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma with a score of 24 or higher are eligible to receive up to 30 transfer credits, equivalent to one year of full-time study.
