You don’t need to have a background in accounting to make it a part of your future career path. Throughout the two-year program, you’ll cover business, financial and management accounting in all kinds of forms. After an advanced preparatory component to get you started, you’ll cover mastery units and two application studies too – with topics like forensic accounting, global financial markets and corporate treasury management all available to tailor your study to your career ambitions.By the time you’ve finished your study, you’ll have gained professional accreditation and established yourself as graduate career ready. More capable of navigating the ins and outs of modern professional accounting – and more skilled at putting the latest business thinking into practice.
Studying this course will also qualify for associate membership with leading accounting institutions and industry bodies – including CPA Australia, the Institute of Public Accountants, and entry into the Chartered Accountant’s Program of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.

Applicants who have completed relevant discipline units in an Australian bachelor degree (or equivalent qualification) may be exempted from undertaking mastery knowledge units and will be able to choose an alternative unit, in consultation with the Course Director.
