To be eligible, an applicant must have achieved the following minimum entry requirements and demonstrate they fulfil any prerequisite and essential criteria for admission. In cases where there are more eligible applicants than available places, admission will be competitive with ranks based on the entry criteria.

A completed Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours) from a recognised higher education institution that has provisional or full Australian Pharmacy Council (APC) accreditation in Australia or New Zealand.

Essential requirements

Prior to admission, applicants are required to:

Obtain or apply for provisional registration through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Enrolment into the program will be finalised when provisional AHPRA registration is achieved. Students who fail to gain provisional registration or who have their registration rescinded during the program, will be unable to continue in the program; AND
Arrange their supervised practice (internship) under the supervision of a preceptor approved by the Pharmacy Board of Australia.
