Develop specialised technical knowledge in automation and manufacturing systems, enabling you to apply engineering principles to understand, modify or control the manufacture, delivery and maintenance of technology components.This course is ideal for qualified engineers seeking to move into a management role or to specialise or update their skills.The Master of Engineering (Automation and Manufacutring Systems) is a postgraduate coursework degree that will help you develop specialised technical knowledge in automation and manufacturing engineering.You will complete core professional engineering units and specialist units in automation and manufacturing engineering, in addition to a capstone comprising either a research project or a dissertation.You will also complete elective units as needed to make up the requirements of the course.

To be eligible for admission, an applicant is required to have:

an Australian Bachelor of Engineering degree in the relevant discipline with a credit average (65 percent) or equivalent qualification, or

an Australian Bachelor of Engineering degree in the relevant discipline or equivalent, and five years relevant professional work experience, or

the relevant University of Sydney Graduate Diploma in Engineering or Graduate Certificate in Engineering with a credit average (65 percent).
