A Sustainability major equips you to tackle some of the most complex challenges facing the world today - climate change, resource use, energy transition and environmental governance. You’ll learn how organisations reduce environmental impact, transition to renewable energy, manage waste responsibly, and embed sustainability into decision-making and reporting. Through hands-on projects and real-world applications, you’ll explore areas such as sustainable energy systems, waste and resource management, environmental governance, Indigenous approaches to caring for Country, and sustainable design. This major combines scientific, technical and social perspectives, equipping you with the skills to contribute meaningfully to sustainability initiatives across industry, government and community settings.
