Learn to assess, manage and prevent injury and disease in the workplace and broader community. This accredited double degree develops your expertise in both health promotion and occupational health and safety. As a graduate, you can choose to work within either discipline over your career, or you can pursue a career that combines both. This course is accredited in Australia by the Australian Occupational Health and Safety Education Accreditation Board (Safety Institute of Australia), in the UK by the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health, and internationally by the International Union for Health Promotion and Education. Develop real-world experience before you graduate. Learn how work-integrated learning helps you build career skills and connect with industry early. You'll participate in an on-campus health promotion campaign and in fieldwork visits so that you can experience health and safety in action. You'll also develop your practical skills through 350 hours of professional placements in both health promotion and health and safety organisations.
