You also study the 'written word' - one of the most important tools of the legal profession - and the combination of law, writing, and publishing equips you to become an effective advocate who can provide innovative and thoughtful solutions to complex problems. Offering full-time study, the program leads to a professional legal qualification that satisfies the academic requirements for admission as a lawyer, as well as develops expertise in creative writing.

The honours component in law comprises two research subjects, enabling you to develop advanced research, critical analysis and communication skills that can be used in further higher degree research such as Master of Laws or PhD.
